If you have any drawer tops that cannot be unscrewed, you will need to remove the contents from those drawers. Glass doors will need to be removed; we can do that for you! You will also need to stow away everything from your countertops and anything sitting out in the open.

What Goes Into Painting Your Kitchen Cabinets?
The preparation is just as important as the painting.
It can take up to two days to prep your kitchen! This is to ensure that no paint ends up on your floors, walls, or anywhere other than your cabinets or drawers. Our crews use rosin paper and plastic to cover your floors, ceiling, appliances, countertops, and any exposed cabinet or drawer space. Everything is secured with tape, and the entire kitchen is protected by plastic walls to keep the dust contained within the work area only.
Remove cabinet doors and hardware and prep the surface.
We remove and carefully label each cabinet door and drawer face and detach any hinges, handles, and other hardware. If you are keeping the existing hardware, we set it aside until it’s time to reinstall your cabinets. Prepping the surface of your cabinets begins with wiping down every surface so we can start with a clean slate.
It’s time for sanding, priming, and painting.
Sanding is an important part of the process because it guarantees that the primer and paint will adhere to the cabinets for a smooth and even application. Our crew sands every surface before applying each coat. You can expect one coat of oil-based primer and three coats of paint. The primer and cabinet paint is sprayed on equally for a consistent look. We go over boxes and drawers with a fine-tooth comb after each coat to ensure there are no blemishes or dents. If there are, we repeat the process until the surface is completely smooth. We will not move on to the next step until we’re 150% sure that your cabinets are looking their very best.
Reinstall doors and complete the finishing touches.
Each cabinet and drawer door is reinstalled to its original frame, and the hardware is screwed back in. Now is a great time to consider new hardware for your new look! We install new rubber stoppers on each door and drawer to protect the frame from daily wear and tear.
